  Jada is proud to announce: The 2021 Jada Paris Art Fair and Artist-in-Residence Program!

A Jada Call for Art & Artists:

Let it be known that the Jada Art Movement is fully committed to the renewal of the Social Contract via the Great (CREATIVE) Reset. We do so by legitimizing optimism — as a testament to the courage, resilience, and sincerity displayed by all creatives during the Great Pandemic — when the world understood that the artist is a healer amidst discord, and a dissenter amidst complacency. Jada knows that this insight is central to the New Normal! 

Therefore, we call upon all artists, makers, and thinkers to join our exhibit and artist-in-residence program for Paris Art Week!

The Theme: 

 “We Are the New Babylonians Amidst the Great Reset!”

 Accepting proposals for art in 2D, 3D, and Time-Based formats.

The Call: “We are worldly and intersectional, interdisciplinary and multifaceted, bridge-makers and taboo-shatterers, authors of new histories and paradigms, the builders of new structures and the protestors of useless hierarchies. We reject nihilism. We are Metamodernists, because we choose sincerity and wonderment. We still believe in Humankind. We defend the Other, and we honor our Diasporas. We redeem our disconnection, by inventing the Digital Nomad. We are once again the crossroad between the East and the West. We are peaceful and chaotic. We are hopeful. We are creative. We are daring.

We are the New Babylonians!

This shall be the prevailing theme for Paris Art Week (Oct. 2021), Miami Art Week (Dec. 2021), and the Jada Art Fair in Israel (TBA 2022 ). All programming will be both on-site and virtual.

Jada invites U.S. and international english-speaking artists to engage in an intimate but truly powerful cultural experience in France, during Paris International Art Week, from October 14th through the 24th. Paris Art Week is held October 21-24, 2021.

Because your health is our first priority, we will also offer an incredible virtual reality options for those who wish to join us from a distance. The on-site and virtual programs will together focus on exhibiting each participating artists’ works to a highly sophisticated international audience, while strengthening their personal art practice, career development, and conceptual understanding of what it means to be a global artist in the age of information.

The program will encourage a multi-layered conversations. It will consist of daily art studio sessions, critiques, theoretical discussions, professional career consulting, and networking opportunities with art industry leaders from Paris and the United States.

The program will focus on creating lasting bonds among artists and art collectives, by promoting togetherness via creative collaborations, meaningful experiences such as meal sharing, museum tours, art studio visits, sightseeing, wine and food tasting events, and much more.

All Paris exhibiting artists will be featured in the 2021 Jada Paris Art Fair Catalog in our Online Virtual Exhibition site.
