Let it be known that the Jada Art Movement is fully committed to the renewal of the Social Contract via the Great (CREATIVE) Reset. We do so by legitimizing optimism — as a testament to the courage, resilience, and sincerity displayed by all creatives during the Great Pandemic — when the world understood that the artist is a healer amidst discord, and a dissenter amidst complacency. Jada knows that this insight is central to the New Normal! 

Therefore, we call upon all artists, makers, and thinkers to join our exhibition for Miami Art Week!

The Theme: 

 “We Are the New Babylonians Amidst the Great Reset!”

Accepting proposals for art in 2D, 3D, NFT, and Time-Based formats.

The Call: “We are worldly and intersectional, interdisciplinary and multifaceted, bridge-makers and taboo-shatterers, authors of new histories and paradigms, the builders of new structures and the protestors of useless hierarchies. We reject nihilism. We are Metamodernists, because we choose sincerity and wonderment. We still believe in Humankind. We defend the Other, and we honor our Diasporas. We redeem our disconnection, by inventing the Digital Nomad. We are once again the crossroad between the East and the West. We are peaceful and chaotic. We are hopeful. We are creative. We are daring.

We are the New Babylonians!

This shall be the prevailing theme for Miami Art Week (Dec. 2021) and the Jada Art Fair in Israel (TBA 2022 ). All programming will be both on-site and virtual.

Dates: December 2 – 5, 2021, VIP Preview December 1, See Declaration
Where: Miami Beach, Normandy Isle Arts District [NIAD]
What: Expansive exhibits in multiple locations interconnected throughout the NIAD.
The main exhibition is in a 5,000 sf facility and an outdoor sculpture exhibit at a prominent waterfront location.
Entry Deadline: September 15th, 2021
Eligibility: Two-Dimensional*, Three-Dimensional**, Video/Digital Art***, NFT, Time-Based
*Paintings, Drawings, Print, etc.
**Sculptures, Installations, Site-Specific work, etc.
***Time-Based Art, Projections, TV art, Computer art, etc. Must provide equipment.

Requirements: Please submit your application to info@jadaart.org, including up to 3 high resolution images of artwork (no bigger than 6 ft by 6ft) related to the theme, include the titles, medium, and date for each work. In addition, include your website and artist statement in the email. State on the same message that you have read the Jada Manifesto, and that you agree with it. Complete the application form below. Wait for approval.

During Miami Art Week Health guidelines will be followed. In adherence to local health regulations, we will be debuting for the second year in a row in Miami a hybrid event showcasing in person and broadcasting across the internet.
